Thomas was born in 1890 in Ballymoney, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the son of Hugh Dick and Priscilla Haigs.[1]
During the 1901 Census of Ireland, Thomas (age 10) was residing in a house 11 in Ballymoney (Islandmagee, Antrim) with his parents and 7 living siblings.[2][3]
Thomas (age 20) was residing in a house 12 in Ballymoney (Island Magee, Antrim) during the 1911 Census of Ireland with his parents and 5 of his siblings.[4][5]
On May 12th, 1920 Thomas married Margaret Mawhinney in the 1st Presbyterian Church in Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland. Thomas was recorded as Full Age, a Bachelor and a Mariner residing in Ballymoney Islandmagee. Margaret was recorded as a Minor and a Spinster residing in Ballymuldrogh Islandmagee. The witnesses were William McMaw and Minnie Dick.[6]
Thomas passed away on April 12th, 1972 (age 81).[7] He is interred in Islandmagee New Cemetery (Plot# F4).[8]
