On Dec 22, 1756, Samuel Loveland deeded a piece of land in Glastonbury to his daughter Beriah, wife of David Dickinson. (Land rcd.) David and his wife were received into the Eastbury (Glasonhbury) Church from Marlborough Church on 6 Nov 1774. He was made a deacon 29 May 1797. His will recorded in Hartford Probate Records. He gave his daughter Esther 1/3 of house and barn and one acre of land near house; to daughter Beriah, twenty dollars; to daughters Jemima, Ruth, Sarah two dollars each; to sons Samuel and Johab two dollars each; to heirs of son David, two dollars; to son Elijah all the rest of his estate except what he had given to others.
