Johann Martin Dietz was born about 1808 in Walter, Volga, Russia to Konrad Dietz and Magdalena Benner (name Becker in census).[1]

He married Anna Catherina Giesick. She died in 1845. On 29 Sep 1846, he remarried to Susanna Catherine Schäfer nee Hausch from Huck.[1]

Martin Dietz died sometime after 1857 most likely in Walter.
