Nellie was born in 1896. She was the daughter of Charles Dine and Caroline Compton. She passed away in 1920, aged 23.
The following extract is from the Hastings Standard, Volume X, Issue 74, 10 March 1920, Page 4 " The death occurred at Napier yesterday of Mrs. Nellie Elizabeth Fairbrother, at the early age of 25 years. She was the wife of Mr. L. M. Fairbrother, of Sherenden, and was highly esteemed for her amiable and charming disposition. The remains were interred in the Stortford Lodge Cemetery this afternoon. "
