Research Notes

  • I am uncertain where the date of birth comes from as there are no sources for the exact date, which is taken from the records at FamilySearch with citation. There is also a note in this record that William never married, also without citation.
  • William is named in the probate of Charles Tucker, which is dated 21 May 1860. "William L, Andrew M, Charles T and Julia Ann Dinsmore all of whom are under the age of twenty one years." He would be approximately 16 years old. NOTE: Catalog record Morgan County, Alabama Probate Court estate files, ca. 1820-1915. Loose estate files, ca. 1820-1915 Troup, E.J.S. (cont.) - Turrentine, J.S. (cont.). No citation available.
