Biography

John Verrill Dinsmore was born 6 December 1821 in Minot, Maine, the son of James Dinsmore and Betsey Verrill. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

John worked as a house carpenter and lived in various New England states, Illinois, and Iowa. He married first Arvilla Maria Packard on 6 January 1850 in Auburn, Maine. ^[4] They had five children: ^[5]
