Biography

John Verrill Dinsmore was born 6 December 1821 in Minot, Maine, the son of James Dinsmore and Betsey Verrill. [1] [2] [3]

John worked as a house carpenter and lived in various New England states, Illinois, and Iowa. He married first Arvilla Maria Packard on 6 January 1850 in Auburn, Maine. [4] They had five children: [5]

  2. Henry Newman Dinsmore
  3. Walter Packard Dinsmore
  4. Alice May Dinsmore
  5. Jessie Vaile Dinsmore

After Arvilla's death on 25 January 1875, John married second Mary E. Carr on 25 May 1880 in Boston, Massachusetts. [6] [7] [8]

John passed away 8 Dec 1907 in Harpswell, Cumberland, Maine, USA.
