Biography

GRACE EMILY DIXON, the daughter of William Dixon and Sarah Willson was born Oct. 6, 1895 at Buffalo, New York. Married Nov. 3, 1917, by military service in the Episcopal Church of Advent, Spartanburg, South Carolina, by Chaplain John Ward of 27th Div. from Buffalo Diocese, to Alfred Charles Danat, who was born June 5, 1893 at Buffalo, New York. He served in World War I and World War II and retired in 1944 from the U. S. Army, as Major and is also a retired salesman for Continental Hospital Service Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. Grace is a volunteer Red Cross Gray Lady at Roswell Park Memorial Institute and for Blood Mobiles. Members of the Presbyterian Church. Parents of three children, who were born at Buffalo, New York.
