Lillian Mae "Lillie" Dodgson was born in Kalamo, Michigan in 1875, the daughter of John and Henrietta Spendlove Dodgson.
She married Dr. William Alton Vance, Jr in Kalamo on 30 Oct 1897. They were the parents of two known children:
Merle Adin Vance b. 3 Jul 1902, d. 25 Mar 1975;
William Alton Vance III b. abt 1905, d. 9 Aug 1964. He was also a doctor.
Lillie died in Mar 1968 and is buried at the Hillside Cemetery, Kalamo, Michigan.
