Lijsje werd geboren op 22 maart 1897 in Hilversum (Noord-Holland).^[1] Zij was de dochter van Lambertus Dooren en Machteltje Kallenbach. Lijsje trouwde op 18 april 1923 met Fredrik Wallenburg te Hilversum (Noord-Holland).^[2] Zij kregen 3 dochters. Lijsje overleed aan een angina pectoris op 31 maart 1972, 75 jaar oud.
