Henry was born in 1898 in Wayne County, Nebraska. He was the son of William Dormann and Lena Doose. Even within the immediate family, the spellings of Dorman, Dormann, Dohrman and Dohrmann are used interchangeably. Henry died in a car accident in Wayne County, Nebraska in 1932.
