Rachel married William Smith 20 January 1896 in Cocke, Tennessee, United States.[1][2]
A son, Thomas Smith (1897–1968) is listed as their child.[3]
Rachel passed away 1898 in Tennessee, and is buried Smith Cemetery, Cocke County, Tennessee.

Lucinda C. Baxter is the daughter of Perry Baxter, born 1838 in Cocke County, Tennessee, died 15 February, 1863, in Davidson County Tennessee, and Permela "Millie" McMahan, born 1839 in Cosby, Cocke County, Tennessee, died before 1900.
Lucinda divorced James Dorsey on 31 August, 1882. Lucinda married Thomas Webb in 1896.[1]
