Biography
Esther was born on 16 Feb 1817 in Saint-Gervais, the daughter of Joseph Dorval and Françoise Chatigny. She was baptised the next day in the parish of Saint-Gervais-et-Protais, with Joseph Dalaire and Agathe Roy, wife of Joachim Gosselin, standing as godparents[1].
