William Douglas I is described as a Mariner. There is no suggestion that he is deceased. James Wright and Mary Douglas are listed as witnesses

18th June 1861 – William II died at 7 Ward Street aged 62 – cause of death Schirosis of the Pancreas (6 months certified). The death was reported on 19th June by J Douglas (not clear whether this was James or John) of 7 Ward Street, who was present at the death.
