Bill Jenkins recalls a story that was passed down, That Juan Jenkins, Son of Francis Jenkins, helped both his own family, and John and Ella's family move to Wyo. First helping one family, get settled. And a year or so later went back to help move the other family out to Wyo. That is how Sarah Douglas, and Juan Jenkins came to know each other.^[6]
