Emma was born in 1880 to Henry Downey and Emma Unknown. ^[1]

Emma Downey and Percival Amos Milverton married in New Zealand in 1900 ^[2], and had at least 4 children:

2. Hazel Amy May (Milverton) Lissington (1904-1995)
3. Percival Robert ^{[4] [5]}
4. Nola Roseen ^{[6] [7] [8]}.

In 1926, Emma and her husband, were living in Palmerston North, New Zealand ^[9].

Emma died on the 24th of April 1930 at Palmerston North Hospital ^[10][11], and was buried at Terrace End Cemetery in Palmerston North, New Zealand ^[12].
