Biography

Calogera was born about 1790 ^[1] to Cristofalo Drago and Paola Giarraputo ^[2]. Her first marriage, date unknown, was with Giuseppe Gulotta ^[3]. They had at least one child and Calogera was widowed. She married Baldassare Rosolia ^[4] in 1829 when she was 39 and he 35; they had several children. Calogera was widowed by Baldassare within a few years and in 1835 at age 42-ish she married the widower Leonardo Scaturro, 43 ^[5]. They had at least one child. Calogera had been widowed by Leonardo and was still living as of 1 October 1865 ^[6].
