Needham was born in Wendell in 1782 to Zachariah Drury and Ruth Sawyer and died in Wendell in 1818[1]

From "Family Record Book Compiled by Julia Ann Zimmerman Drury"[2] Needham Drury, the second son of Zachariah Drury, born 1783, lived with his father and learned his trade (a millwright) while young married about 1808 to Amanda Winter. They had 5 children as follows:

He died in the town of Wendall, Franklin County, Mass. on 27 Mar 1818 and his wife died on 10 Sep 1818
Sophia married Lemuel Bartlett, Jr. of Shutesbury, Mass. where they were living Dec 16 1886. They had sons Needham D., Reuben E., Francis A., Asa E. and daughter Emma.
Amanda married John Miller.
