Biography

Julie (Ducharme) Grant was a Canadian First Peoples and member of the Métis Nation.

Julie Ducharme was born at St. Boniface, Red River Settlement in 1814 to Nicholas Ducharme dit Charon (French Canadian) and Genevieve (a Cree woman).

Julie married Jean Baptiste Grant at St. Boniface in 1830.

She passed away in 1899.
