Vital Dumouchel was born on 27 Nov 1783. He was the son of Joseph Marie Dumouchel and Marguerite Brault. At age 22 Vital married Felicite Bourcier on 13 Oct 1806 In Saint-Joachim parish in Châteauguay, Bas-Canada. There were at least three chldren born into this marriage. Vital died at age 81 on 30 Nov 1864; he was buried two days later on 2 Dec In Saint-Joachim parish cemetery.
