Patrick Augustus Duncan, born 1 May 1910 in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, was the son of dancer Isadora Duncan, who was not married.[1] His father is not named on record, but is often identified as Paris Singer, one of the sons of sewing machine magnate Isaac Merritt Singer.[2][3]
Patrick died on 19 April 1913, near number 70 boulevard Bourdon in Neuilly-sur-Seine at about 4 pm[4] together with his half-sister Deirdre, 6, and their governess Annie McKessack Sim, when their automobile left the bridge over the Seine and plunged into the river. Only their driver escaped.[5]
