Biography

Joseph was born in 1856.

Joseph arrived Quebec, CAN, on 24 Jun 1897 with wife, Magdalena, and seven children aboard the SS Armeniea from Hamburg, GER. Entered US at St. Albans, Vermont'^[1]

In the 1900 census Joseph (age 45) was the married head of household in Glen Ullin, Morton, North Dakota, United States.

He passed away 22 May 1931.^[3]

Joseph was born in 1856 in Ernsthausen, (Banat), Austria-Hungary. He immigrated to America in 1897, initially settling in Morton County, North Dakota. In 1902 he moved to Mt Angel, Oregon and had a farm southwest of Mt Angel located near Waconda Road and 86th. In 1905 he moved back to North Dakota where he lived until he passed away in 1931.
