Paul Jr. was born to Paul and Sarah Dusten in New Hampshire in 1782. The family went to New Brunswick in 1784. He came with his family to Upper Canada where they first settled in Walsingham Township in Norfolk County. Paul married Charlotte Munro in 1815. Later there was some land dispute with his step-brother and Paul Jr. petitioned for land in Sombra Township, Kent County, Upper Canada in 1839. Many of his descendants remain in that area.
