When Daniel H Dye was born on July 3, 1776, in Bordentown, New Jersey, his father, Enoch Dye, was 23 and his mother, Rebecca Leet, was 21. He married Jane McIntyre on August 4, 1796. They had 15 children in 25 years. He died on March 10, 1853, in Troy, Ohio, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in Morrow, Ohio.
