The Dyer tree collected by Gordon Reeve shows a John Dyer, father of Joseph, b.1826, father of Annie, b.1878, for whom the only information is husbandman and born 1800-1805. Familysearch has no Joseph Dyer born about 1826 with a father John , but has two John Dyers born in Cornwall, between 1800 and 1805, one at Helland and one at St Germans. Helland is much closer to the area around Padstow where a search on AltaVista shows most of the Rosehill place names to be (and Penrose). The details for this John Dyer are those for the Helland John Dyer.
