Lydia Eager was born on May 15, 1723 in Westborough, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, daughter of James Eager (1686–1755) and Tabitha Howe (1684–1755).
Lydia (21) married George Oaks (24) (born about February 15, 1720 in Westborough, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay; son of Nathaniel I. Oak and Mary (Holloway) Rice) on October 23, 1744 in Westborough Worcester County Massachusetts. Their children were:
- Lucy Oakes (~1744– )
- Lydia Oakes (1746– )
- Sylvanus Oakes (1749–1800)
- Vashti Oakes (1754–>1777)
Lydia died on September 10, 1758 in Westborough, aged 35.[1]
