Gordon Garnett Eagleson was born in 1906 in Parry Sound, Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of James Edward Eagleson and Delila Ellis of Ontario.[1] He was born in the midst of about eleven children. In 1911 Gordon was about 5 years old and they were living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His family was of Anglican faith and his father worked for Canadian Pacific Railway.[2]

In 1935 Gordon married Virginia May Thompson in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At the time, he was a bachelor, 28 yrs. old, residing in Walhachin?, BC and worked for the Canadian National Railway. Virginia was 21 yrs. old, and lived at home in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was the daughter of Arthur Thompson (born England) and May Hurl (born Ontario, Canada). They were later divorced in January 1939.[5]
Gordon married Evelyn Mae Kirby. They had four children (two are living). One son, Gordon, was born in New Westminster, BC, Canada. In the son's obituary it states that the family moved to Tuxford Saskatchewan, and then High River Alberta around 1958.[6]
Gordon passed away at 61 yrs. of age. Gordon was mentioned on a memorial in Highwood Cemetery, High River, Calgary Census Division, Alberta, Canada with a death date of 3 Jun 1968.[7][8]
