Biography

Octavie was born in 1828. Octavie listed her origin as Delaines. No town in France is named Delaines, however, the name Delaine (Delaisne) refers to someone from the Aisne department of France. It is possible that she is originally from this region of France, although no records have been found at this time to verify this. Octavie (Easte) Wafflard immigrated to the United States on April 13, 1858. She passed away in 1912.
