Ebenezer Eaton, son of Benjamin and Sarah (Hoskins) Eaton, was born in Plymouth about 1674. This is based on the fact he was 61 when he died in 1735.[1]
He married at Plymouth in Nov 1701 (2 or 24) Hannah Rickard, daughter of Giles and Hannah (Dunham) Rickard. Hannah Eaton received a share of her father Giles' estate.[1][2]
7 Mar 1729/30 Ebenezer, then of Kingston, Massachusetts, house carpenter, sold his homestead at Indian Pond in Kingston to Johan Holmes of Plymouth.[1]
21 May 1732 Ebenezer joined the First Church of North Yarmouth.[1]
19 Oct 1732 Ebenezer Eaton of North Yarmouth, yeoman, sold six acres in Plymouth and Kingston.[1]
Ebenezer died 25 Jul 1735 in his 62nd year in North Yarmouth, Massachusetts (now Maine).[1] His gravestone is located in the Pioneer Cemetery, Yarmouth, Cumberland County, Maine.[3]
His son was granted administration of his estate 5 Dec 1736. An agreement dated 27 Dec 1736 set support of the widow Hannah to eldest son, Ebenezer. Daugters Marcy Lake, wife of Benjamin, and Joanna Eaton and sons Ebenezer, Elisha and Gideon divided the estate.[1]
