Biography
1850 is the last census I found him on. Other peoples trees have him buried in Missouri but I believe they are wrong because in the "Piedmont Missouri a Sesquicentennial pg 23" states that several families bearing the surnames of Eaton & Waites arrived from Carroll County, TN and were headed by the children of North Carolina natives John Robert Eaton & his wife the former Catherine Daniel, it does not mention John R & Catherine being with them. Since he was 82yrs old & she was 75 I believe they may have died before the families left Carroll Co.,TN. The article does not state a date that the Eaton famlies arrived in Danielsville, Missouri, they are on the 1860 Census, John R & Catherine are not. Danielsville, Missouri later became Piedmont, Missouri.
