Eliza, daughter of William Edgcombe and Elizabeth Edgcombe, was born on 30 June 1823 and baptised on 3 August 1823 in Launceston, Cornwall, England.[1][2]

Eliza's marriage was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1844 in the Launceston district.[3]

Eliza's daughter Catherine May was baptised on 25 December 1848 in St Minver, Cornwall, England.[4]

In the 1851 census Eliza (age 27), Cordwainer Master'S Wife, was the wife of William May on Park Street, Swansea, Glamorganshire, Wales.[5]
