Note: Joseph Edsall was a Revolutionary War soldier in 1781 on the New Jersey frontier. He was the first Supervisor of Madrid 1802-1804. He was also a judge of St. Lawrence Co. In 1805 a Militia Regimentwas organized in St. Lawrence Co. and Joseph was made 1st Major. He later became a Colonel.
