Biography

Philipp, son of Philipp Reinhard Ehrhard and Anna Barbara Blum, was born on 1 August 1721 and baptized on 3 August 1721 in Iggelheim, Pfalz, Bayern, Deutschland.[1]

At the time of the first census of the United States in 1790, he was living in Lincoln, North Carolina.[2]

Research Notes

Born in Iggelheim, Rhineland-Pfalz in 1721 to Phillip Reinhard Ehrhard (1696-1740) and Anna Barbara (Blum) Ehrhard (1696-1733), the Reverend Philip Jacob Ehrhard married Maria Catharina Schremer on 7 February 1747 in Nordheim, Darmstadt, Hessen (where she was born, in 1725). He died about 1791, at Killians Creek, Lincoln County, North Carolina.[3]
