The 1870 censuses gives his age as 32, for a birthdate of about 1838. His wife is given as Margaret Elbert, 24. There are six children listed. The family is in Bradford, Florida.[1]
In 1880, London Elbert is recorded as 47, for a birthdate about 1833. HIs wife is Margarett Elbert, 38. There are 10 children listed. The family is in Starke, Bradford, Florida, United States.[2]
The 1885 Florida state census shows Landon Elbert and wife Margaret and their chuldren in Bradford, Florida.[3]

There is a death record for Lugina Sherman[4]; her death was on 5 Jan 1931, her age is given as 60, for an estimated birth year of 1871. The rejoice gives her parents as Lundon Albert and Maggie Elbert, her husband as Henry Sherman, and the informant is Ida Mae Williams. This appears to be the daughter listed as Vergenia in 1880 and Arcenia in 1885. The informant is likely her sister Ida.
