Thomas was the son of Simon Elliott and Jane Hanlon. Thomas was baptised on 11 November 1882 at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem, Northampton, Pennsylvania.
He was employed as a Car Trimmer.
Thomas had 2 marriages. At 25 he married on 8 Mar 1907 in Delaware to Viola Rile Turner. The marriage ended in Divorce before 1910.
He was 31 when he remarried in 1914 to Katherine Weiss aged 22. Their marriage took place in Wilmington on 29 January. Witnesses to the marriage were his sister Jane and her husband Patrick John Cusack.
They lived at 929 Loverington Avenue. His parents had lived at 1828 Loverington.
In 1942 Thomas registered for the WWII Draft. (The National Archives at St. Louis; St. Louis, Missouri; World War II Draft Cards (Fourth Registration) for the State of Delaware; Record Group Title: Records of the Selective Service System; Record Group Number: 147; Series Number: M1936) At the time Thomas was employed with Joseph Bancroft & Sons of Wilmington, a Bleaching and Dye Works.
Thomas Elliott, Widower, died in 1961 aged 87 at Memorial Hospital. He is buried at Riverview Cemetery. Clarence J Elliott was the informant of his death.
