This is for sure her: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FPNP-W9T even with Dad spelled "Eliza"and mom spelled"patsie"...hence changing the birth/death dates accordingly. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Mecklenberg Co., Morth Carolina.

I base the Husband's name on this birth cerificate: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VHN8-WDX and John W.Horne's early passing and internment at Mt. Moriah church, where other Elliott relatives are buried(Hattie, Martha's sister) .http://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Horne&GSfn=J&GSmn=W&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=29&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=71810093&df=all& I also believe her Dad Elijah was John's father James' blacksmith, as they were listed next to each other on the1860 census.

don't believe the following lead by Calvin Edwards to be accurate (after tracking down all her kids I am sure it is not accurate), and may drop the Thomas Horne reference after trying to contact Mr. Edwards.

Looking for any information on Thomas Horne born abt 1840 and his wife[uncertain relationship is right - see below- (Elliott 4782)] Martha A. Elliott born 1853. They lived in the White Store Township of Anson Co. Martha was widowed living in White Store in 1900[ see (Elliott 4782) - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MSTK-PQ8],living in Monroe NC in 1910,living in Charlotte NC in 1920.

Could Martha Elliott have been a daughter of Elijah & Martha Elliott?

Steve, You are absolutely correct. Martha was daughter of Elijah and Martha Elliott. Martha was one of 10 children, the eldest being my great grandmother Sarah Annie Elliott Sneed. Martha A Elliott Horne head of house with her mother Martha in household lived in White Store in 1900 , Monroe in 1910, in Charlotte in 1920. I believe her mother must have died before 1910. Calvin

I saw the Elliott info in the 1860 census.

Elliott-4782: 1860census info linked here, showing her age 7 then: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MDDL-1X8

BUT (Elliott-4782): the1880 census of Martha Horn living with Thomas Horn in White Store has Thomas born in 1880 and Martha in 1841 - our Martha is mid-1850s. for 1880censuslisting see: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MC6H-SS8

the Martha Ann Horne and Thomas referred to by Edwards is surely the parent of the bride in this wedding in 1877 of their 15yr old daughter: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F8M7-G5W and perhaps mother of the groom here in 1895 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F8Z1-BM5

NOTE:Elliott-4782 the 1900 census has Lela's father being from NC, but Effie, Hattie, Emma and Wilma have a dad from SC. Did Martha marry twice -or was this incorrect info? https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11840-105480-77?cc=1325221 the 1900 census alos notes that Martha gave borth to8kids all8living, and that mother Martha Elliott gave birth to 10 of whom 6 are still living in 1900.
