Biography

Amos was born on 25 July 1773, the first child of Amos and Lucretia Emery in Temple, New Hampshire.[1]

Amos reportedly married Hannah Eliot in September 1799 in New Hampshire. By 1810, the family was living in Windham, Vermont. Amos served as Justice of the peace in Windham[2] and was elected to the Vermont Legislature in 1816.[3]

Amos passed away in 1857. [4]
