JOHN EMERY, born at Dracut, estimate 1765 son of Jonathan Emery and Jerusha Barron;^[1] John died 1836;^[2] married at Fairfield, Maine, 10 Mar 1791,^[3] ALICE BALLARD, baptized at Charlton, 3 Jun 1770 daughter of Jonathan Ballard and Alice Moore;^[4] Alice died Mar 1856.^[5]

Alice and John resided in Kennebec County, Maine. In 1830, the family of John Emery was two persons at Clinton: one male 50 to 59 and one female 50 to 59.^[6]
