Biography

Eric Ericsson was born on July 27, 1760 in Aspbenning i Västanfors parish, Västmanlands län, Sweden. He was the son of Eric Ericsson and his wife Christina Andersdotter.[1]

He took last name Asplind, but his death record has last name Aspling. His children used Aspling.

According to his death record, he was married twice and had nine children.

Parish cobbler Eric Asplind in Aspbenning married Stina Danielsdotter in Åvestbo in 1787. She was the daughter of bergsman Daniel Hansson in Åvestbo.[2] They had two sons.

His married his second wife Cajsa Lisa Hedmark on December 10, 1795 in Västanfors.[4] She was born in Säter parish in 1769. They had seven children, 5 sons and 2 daughters of whom 3 sons died before him:

The famlily came from Järlåsa parish to Västanfors in 1801. They lived in Aspbenning 1805-1816.

Erik died on January 9, 1825 in Aspbenning, Västanfors, Västmanlands län, Sweden, aged 64.[5]
