Paternal and Maternal relationships are both confident based on a triangulated group on MyHeritageDNA who share a 16.5 cM segment on chromosome 7, consisting of Ray Sarlin and HM, his 5th cousin, and ASH, his 5th cousin. (HM and ASH are 2nd cousins.) These matches have been independently verified via the MyHeritage Chromosome Browser. Their most-recent common ancestors are Erik Nilsen and Jøran Rasmusdatter, the 4x great grandparents of both Ray Sarlin and HM and 4x great grandparents of ASH.
