Biography
William was baptised with his brother David on 9 Mar 1662 in Culross, Perthshire, Scotland. He was the son of David Erskine and Mary Bruce. [1]
William married Magdalen Lumsden, his cousin-german, daughter of Sir James Lumsden of Innergellie[2]by his wife Margaret, the daughter of Sir George Bruce of Carnock.[3]
