Franky was probably born outside Athens, Georgia prior to 1859 when Hezekiah Francis Erwin's estate was probated. Franky had two known children:
In Hezekiah Francis Erwin's April 1859 Appraisement, Franky was described as a "Woman," the mother of Squire & Ellen, and valued at $1600.[1] In the first distribution, she was described as a "Woman".[2] in an interim distribution, Franky was assigned to be distributed to the widow Mary Erwin,[3] In the final distribution, she was assigned to widow Mary Erwin from Hotchpot[4] and given a valuation of $1950 with her two children..[5]
