Franky Erwin is a part of US Black heritage.

Franky was probably born outside Athens, Georgia prior to 1859 when Hezekiah Francis Erwin's estate was probated. Franky had two known children:

1. Ellen
2. Squire

In Hezekiah Francis Erwin's April 1859 Appraisement, Franky was described as a "Woman," the mother of Squire & Ellen, and valued at $1600.^[1] In the first distribution, she was described as a "Woman".^[2] in an interim distribution, Franky was assigned to be distributed to the widow Mary Erwin,^[3] In the final distribution, she was assigned to widow Mary Erwin from Hotchpot^[4] and given a valuation of $1950 with her two children..^[5]
