Biography

Pierre Ethier was born on December 14, 1749 in Missionary Parish of Saint Joseph Maskinonge, New France, son of Joseph Éthier (1708–1782) and Marie Josephe Mabriand (~1708–1788).^[1]

Pierre (23) married Madeleine Landry (24) (born on April 24, 1748 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia; daughter of Joseph Landry and Anne Raymond) on February 8, 1773 in Sorel, Le Bas-Richelieu, Province de Québec.^[2] Their children were:

• Marie Madeleine Ethier (1775–1841)
• Marguerite Ethier (1776–1848)
• Therese Ethier (1780–1843)
• Pierre Ethier (1784–1850)

Pierre died in 1795 at the age of 45, and were buried in Sorel, Quebec.^[3]
