Pierre Ethier was born on December 14, 1749 in Missionary Parish of Saint Joseph Maskinonge, New France, son of Joseph Éthier (1708–1782) and Marie Josephe Mabriand (~1708–1788).[1]
Pierre (23) married Madeleine Landry (24) (born on April 24, 1748 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia; daughter of Joseph Landry and Anne Raymond) on February 8, 1773 in Sorel, Le Bas-Richelieu, Province de Québec.[2] Their children were:
Pierre died in 1795 at the age of 45, and were buried in Sorel, Quebec.[3]
