Lula Jackson Everett was born 27 April 1898 in Robeson County, North Carola. She was the daughter of Auston Pettigrew Everett and Jackson Ann Davis. She was married to John Luther Rackley on 16 May 1915 in Raeford, Hoke County, North Carolina. They were the parents of at least two children, John Elvin Rackley and Vera Rackley. She passed away 11 October 1982 in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. She was buried in Galatia Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.
