John was born on the 9th December 1848 on the Estate of the Australian Agricultural Company, Stroud, New South Wales.

He was the son of Edward Everson and Christiana Munro

He died on the 28 December 1880 while living on Raglan Street, Alexandria, New South Wales, aged 42 years. ^[1]

When John was 25 he married Susannah Jane SHERWELL on the 18th October 1873 in Sydney, New South Wales.
