Herbert Fairley was born on May 21, 1864, the son of Mary Ann Standish and Robert Fairley. He married Inez V Conroy on 14 September 1894 at Barker House in Fredericton [1] and they had one daughter together. He also had one son and two daughters from another relationship. He died on March 27, 1931, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, [2]Canada, at the age of 66.
