Vere Fane was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Vere was born on the 25th of March 1893 in St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^[1]He is the son of Anthony Fane and Sybil St. Clair-Erskine.^[2]On the 14th of April 1920 he married the widow of Arthur Capel the Hon. Diana Lister who was the daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblestone and Charlotte Monkton Tennant in Kensington, London, England^[3]He died on the 12th of May 1948 in Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England at the age of 55^[4][5] and was buried at St Michael and All Angels Churchyard, Little Badminton, South Gloucestershire Unitary Authority, Gloucestershire, England^[6].
