When he registered for WWII on February 16, 1942 in Renan, Virginia he described himself as being 5 foot 10 inches and 145 pounds with a light complexion, blue eyes and brown hair.[1] Nat passed away June 25,1984 in Gretna, Virginia.[2][11][3] He was buried in Saint Andrews United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gretna which is in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.[12]
