Biography

Pamelia Fenlason (called "Amelia" in the Machias Memorial) ^[1] was born at Machias, Maine, 15 Jul 1792, the daughter of Wallace Fenlason and Susanna Scott; ^{[2] [3]} died en route to California, ^{[4] [3]} possibly in the late 1840s, she and her husband not found in the 1850 US Census of Machias; ^[3] married at Machias, 24 Mar 1812, John Hathaway, ^{[5] [3]} born c1787 (if age 25 at time of marriage), the son of Eleazar Hathaway and Sally (_____). ^[6]
