Biography

Ewen was born in 1836. He was the son of John Fergusson and Christina McGregor.

In the 1841 census Ewen (age 5) was in Balmore, Logierait, Perthshire.^[1]

In the 1881 census Ewen (age 45), Travelling Draper Shirt Mkr, was the head of household on George Street, Trevethin, Monmouthshire, Wales.^[2]

In the 1891 census Hugh (age 55), Mason, lived alon in Scotts Land, Old Kilpatrick, Dumbartonshire.^[3]

He passed away on 6 Mar 1915 in 22 Kirkton Old Kilpatrick. he was widowed twice and his sister, Elizabeth Hyslop, was the informant who had been present at his death.
