In the 1939 register May (age 55), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as married in East Elloe, Lincolnshire (Parts of Holland), England.^[2]

Mary died on 22 April 1957 in Lincolnshire, Lincoln, England and their estate passed probate on 17 June 1960 in Peterborough.^[3]
